- A: For poor running engines, 1oz to 1 gallon of fuel is the typical recommended ratio. You cannot over dose with the product, so if you have less than a gallon the 1oz dose will not cause harm the piece of equipment.6 years agoHelpful?

My usual thought would be that something like this is snake oil. I had a Bolens Bl110 that I had gotten out of a scrap pile with a couple other trimmers. I had poured 2 stroke mix into the cylinder and it did fire zbut the carb would not draw fuel. I had heard about this from a friend at work. I was curious to see if it would work So i purchased a bottle. What I did was drained all the gas, filled it with enough to prime the fuel system and let it sit over night. The next morning I drained it and filled it with mix gas. Started up and ran on the second pull. I believe something in it softend the diaphragm. If you have a piece of equipment that is not too far gone give this a try. You will not be dissapointed!
