Our powerful formula maintains a healthy fuel system, adds lubrication, neutralizes acids, keeps rust and corrosion at bay, boosts cetane, and more. All of this adds up to an engine that performs better, uses less fuel and lasts longer. Every diesel engine can benefit from EDT, as both a diesel fuel stabilizer and diesel injector cleaner. The cetane booster in EDT consists of special nitrates which are pro-oxidants and which speed up the oxidative process of fuels during combustion, giving more power and improved mileage. In addition, EDT prevents gum and sludge formation. It prevents corrosion through an inhibitor that produces a protective non-deposit-forming film on metal surfaces in the fuel system which neutralizes corrosive acids formed during combustion.
