Hot Shot's Secret Diesel Winter Rescue Emergency Quick Thaw and De-Icer contains a high-grade lubricity additive and military-grade de-icer and solves unexpected engine shutdowns due to fuel gelling in cold weather.This winter diesel quick thaw removes ice from frozen fuel filters and re-liquifies gelled fuel. Diesel winter rescue restores gelled or frozen diesel fuel caused by ice crystals or even fuel wax formation. TREATMENT: TO RE-LIQUIFY GELLED FUEL: Add 8 ounces (237 mL) of DIESEL WINTER RESCUE for every 10 gallons (38 L) of fuel. Remove fuel filters and fill with 50% DIESEL WINTER RESCUE and 50% diesel fuel. Reinstall fuel filters. Start engine. Let engine idle to warm up the fuel system. TO DE-ICE FROZEN FUEL FILTERS: If fuel is liquid in fuel tanks but engine won't start: Remove fuel filters and fill with 50% DIESEL WINTER RESCUE and 50% diesel fuel. Reinstall fuel filters. Start engine. PREVENTATIVE DIESEL WINTER RESCUE is not intended for everyday usage and does not prevent fuel gelling. Use Hot Shot's Secret EDT+ WINTER DEFENSE as directed to keep fuel from gelling.
