Q: If this dehumidifier has a weight of one pound and the canister desiccant dehumidifier weighs two pounds and looks to have twice as much desiccant how can this one be rated for 333 Cu Ft and the canister dehumidifier be rated for only 50 Cu Ft?

- A: yes, you can leave this dehumidifier plugged in while it is in the safe to recharge. We do not recommend using the dehumidifier while it is charging. Easy to use. Instructions are simple and easy to follow. Blue is good color and pink means to recharge. Simply plug into the electrical outlet and a few hours later it'll be ready to go again. Don't be fooled by an online video where the gentleman is confused about the color indicator and says the instructions are wrong. LOL
