Q: I am not new to birds and do know turkey poultry are harder to raise. Will ts or the hatchery guarantee or replace any of the turkey chick's if they die. I e had birds replaced from cackle hatchery before

- A: Hoover's Hatchery has a 48 hour live delivery and survivability guarantee(beginning when you receive the birds in your care) that covers any unfavorable conditions that may happen during shipping. Q: I checked my local store a few days ago and there were no turkeys. There were no pekins either. Are they available now? When would poults most likely be available in the Leesburg TSC?

- A: Please speak with the store manager or farm department lead as they are not scheduled for any ducks or turkeys. If you special request them they should be able to assist you, especially if you want fewer than the shipping minimum (10 for turkeys/15 for ducklings).4 years agoHelpful?

- A: While they may be able to survive in the wild, it would be best if they are provided shelter and protection from predators if you plant on keeping them. Orlopp Bronze are a hybrid so would not breed true.4 years agoHelpful?

- A: The Orlopp Bronze turkey is a hybrid turkey so it would be able to breed and reproduce but you would not get the same offspring at hatch due to the parentage of the Orlopp turkey.4 years agoHelpful?
