What i received in the mail were 3 different varieties of lavender chicks. However, some of the chicks were a bit larger and more mobile than the other chicks, which resulted in a chick with an injured leg from being stomped on by the bigger ones during shipment, though none of them seemed sickly at the time. The box they were shipped in was smaller than other boxes in the past, and also had no NPIP certification. Out of the 3 breeds, 1 breed is now completely gone (3/10) due to an illness I could not identify in time, as well as a few other chicks sharing their brooder. After separating the lavender mixes, the deaths stopped with a 50% mortality rate for just the lavender mix. TSC and HH refuse to admit any wrong doing in regards to this shipment, however i have ordered many chicks through this platform before and this is the first time i've ever experienced something like this. Something about where there chicks come from isnt all the way clean, and it had a very negative impact on the survivability of the chicks long term. Something i cant see on them at the time of arrival. Symptoms were extreme lethargy and heavy breathing, as if hot or exhausted, followed by a seizure right before death. by the time you noticed symptoms, they were already done for(Within 3 hours of discovery of lethargy symptoms. They all did not experience it at once, but once they were exposed, there was nothing we could do but give them a peaceful place to lie out and die. What's worse is the mortality extended to other batches of chicks. Had to divide down my brooder set up to quarantine to save my baby flock. Worst chicken purchase ever.

I ordered 10 sapphire female chicks. They arrived a month after ordering with no estimated shipping date or updates. Many unanswered emails and phone calls to Hoover's Hatchery. One died, five are Turkens and the other four are not sapphire chicks. Not sure if any are roosters yet but I'm guessing there are a few. Tractor Supply was helpful when I contacted customer service but I will never order chicks from here again.

They came relatively fast and beautiful birds never had these before.

Healthy and arrived quickly

Chicks arrived in 2 days. All healthy. 2 weeks old now and all are doing great.

Took 5-6 days in the mail. None of the chicks survived. Then was told they were done for the season and a replacement was not available.

All chicks arrived happy and healthy. Updates on shipping were timely and accurate. As for the chicks, they are are all active, thriving, and even affectionate.

All 10 arrived alive and appearing healthy. They are 2 weeks now and still doing well.

Beautiful chicks

Ordered 10 hens; 8 lived. 1 of 8 remaining was a rooster. Overall the remaining 8 are very healthy.

Chicks showed up healthy and loud! Love these cute little guys, we did end up loosing two girls but the other 8 are happy and growing fast. Would recommend! Chicks came in tight packaging as well and pretty quickly i did Worry about them for the first day but they made the journey

All 10 chicks arrived healthy, they arrived within 3 days of shipping. I had no problems either them eating or drinking and now’s it’s officially been a month and a half and they are outside and doing great. I started them off with medicated feed mixed with chick started. All 10 are thriving and very docile. They love when I go in the cage with them and fly all over me.

I will order again. All 10 was well and chirping. I heard them as I walked into the post office. After a few days there was 1 casualty. But that happen because the others beat her up and ran all over her. Murder Chicks! They were packaged well. Order your chicks from here.

Birds all arrived in fine health and are doing well. Would have appreciated a bit more communication, though- was a few weeks between order and delivery and had no idea when they would ship

The chicks I received are beautiful but disappointed in variety. Mostly recieved all the same breed and just 3 of another, 0 of the 3rd breed.

3 out of 10 survived. Ordered 10 more of a different kind and 2 out of those 10 survived.

When I received the chick's all of them were alive.Within three days 3 of them had died.

This was my first order. All chicks alive on delivery but two were clearly not well. The first night one passed. The second day the second passed. I was given a credit for the lost babies. The final 8 are awesome. They are five weeks old now and doing great. I am so happy I am going to order the next batch as soon as the first ones go out to the chicken run!!!

Within days of receiving all chicks were dead they were sent to me sick

I order 10 and only 4 survived. A little disappointed but they are sending me replacements.

3 chickens died withing one week. Reached out to both tractor supply and hoovers hatchery and no one has contacted me back.

They arrived great. we did have two that did not make it out of 20, but I do not feel it had anything to do with quality. I think that it was just so stressful for the chicks in travel.

I haven't received shipment. I emailed about my order last week and still have not gotten an answer. Not satisfied at all.

Chicken arrived 1 day later at post office. Spend 3 days in transit. We had a 100% loss rate after less than 24 hours.
