Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best little auger ever This little auger worked great and I mean really great !!! I rented a one man auger for setting 4x4 post around my yard but the auger wouldn’t dig in the clay dirt I have but the little auger I got from Tractor Supply did the job and so I took my auger I rented back and got my money back , I would buy this little auger 100 over just because it works so well !!!!

It is amazing that of all the augers I might be interested in, this one looks like it, but the description does not indicate the diameter of the auger. I think all the augers on the webpage DO indicate the diameter of the hole that the auger would make.

Asked by: augerandy
The diameter of the auger is 1.75in. And it can dig holes up to 12.5 in. deep and 1.75 in. wide.
