This tool works great, and isn't too heavy. The straitening hook works well also. I should have bought one of these along time ago. Instead of standing in my front loader bucket, beating t posts in with a sledge hammer, like an idiot.

bore is too small

I bought this today and will return tomorrow. One answer in the product questions asked about the diameter of the bore. The answer is 2 1/4" or 57 mm. I just measured this one. The bore is 2 1/8" not 2 1/4". The difference is this one will not fit standard U-post. I tried to add a photo, but the web site kept giving an error.

Post pounder highly recommended

Easy to find what I wanted online at a discount and quickly pick up in store. The post pounder made a huge difference in the ease of pounding the metal fence posts in. We had tried the mallet but that was tiring and pieces of metal would sometimes fly off. The post pounder was much faster and easier.
