Worth the purchase.

I am replacing a fence and while I do not necessarily need to own an auger, it was cheaper to buy than to rent by quite a lot then throw in the headache of logistics returning a rental within a certain number of hours. It was a so,Italy worth the purchase and it works well.

I purchased the auger to minimize ‘shovel time’ working on landscaping in my yard - planting 1-3 gallon plants/shrubs

Simple to attach the auger to the motor and straight forward to use. Our soil is moderately rocky and it’s a bit of a challenge to get the fence post holes dug even with the auger. Kind of rough on the wrists and shoulders when hitting rocks, but I’d hate to dig these without the auger.
