Q: Would this auger bit work on a Stihl post hole auger. The biggest bit diameter they sell is 7" but I need at least 10". According to the reviews I'm willing to purchase this bit which would suit my needs.

- A: Hi, this is designed to be used on an Earthquake Auger either two man or one man, I believe you are asking if you used it as an attachment for a larger unit would it work, this will not work on a tractor. this could potentially break if not used as designed.9 years agoHelpful?

I was concerned about the 10" size and handling it alone at 66 years old, but with the 1 - 2 man powerhead, it was easily manageable with ability to finger tip adjust the throttle.

Not bad for sandy soil. Very difficult to use in soil with high clay…my arms and back are paying for it. It got the job done just cannot get in a hurry.
