If you use a portable sander on a regular basis, this H2936 Downdraft Table will be a welcomed addition to your sanding arsenal.

Capturing dust particles happens in two stages: The 1-micron prefilter and second stage filter.

Features include easy access filter bays, (2) 120V outlet receptacles, power cord hangers for accessory tools and rubber-grommet table surfaces for workpiece protection.

Intended to collect dust from wood and wood products only.

Effective but LOUD

Purchased to catch the remaining dust after "dustless" sanding. I'm very happy with how effective this machine is, but is unnecessarily loud for just being a plastic squirrel cage blower. There is an odd drone of a noise that disappears as soon as the machine is powered off, and is not evident while the blower is spinning down. If you dont need something that produces reasable noise, this does the jib on all other counts. I wear hearing protection all the time so I can live with the noise...I just hope my neighbors can.

I should have bought a long time ago, I had a home made one, as thought this was lot of money for squirle cage and filters, but works much better than the one I had made.I was short two grouments, but they said they would get them. It is a bit noiser than had hoped for as wanted to leave running even when not directly using to fileter shop air, but its noisy enough that when your done sanding you want to shut it off.
