The Green Leaf Inc. 1/2 in. Polypropylene Bulkhead Fitting helps to permit the free flow of liquids for tank or drum drainage or filling. Made from polypropylene construction, this bulkhead fitting is designed to be resistant to chemicals for long-lasting use. The poly bulkhead fitting is also NSF61 and NSF372 certified, and includes an EPDM washer for convenience.

- A: This is not recommended. The polypropylene material will hold up to fuel but the EDPM sealing gasket will deteriorate rather quickly.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: What size pilot hole do you drill in the barrel to install this fitting? I think an inch and 3/8 will work. Am I correct.

Used it on a 5gal medium thickness un-pressurized polyethylene bucket with 5 gal of water in it, the seals didn't leak and it was easy to install. The threads worked very well for me also.

Great USA made fitting but no instructions anywhere. It took me valuable time to hunt down the hole info. Tractor Supply, you need to advise the hole size required for install. Put it in the product description please!!!! Otherwise you would have a 5 star.
