Garden Zone Cage Wire With 1 x 1 in. Mesh, 24 in. H x 15 ft. L, 412415 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but... Nice fencing. If it was sold in 16’ lengths I would be a very happy camper. 15’ is annoying when working with standard lumber lengths.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grandson works with wire mesh! Worked just great in building our winter chicken coop. We framed out an inside door and then filled it in with the wire. Easy to work with once you laid it out for awhile. Our 8 year old grandson was able to screw the wire to the door frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good price for what you get As with lots of other roll wire the spacing isn't exact - so if you are building a cage with clips you'll want to measure and cut accordingly. You can get around that by bending the wire to create 4 sides, then cut tops and bottoms 1 inch longer and overlap the cut sides a bit. It makes for a stronger cage anyway. If you are raising rabbits outside then I would suggest you use the 1/2 inch by 1 inch wire because rats can squeeze through the 1 inch by 1 inch wire to steal the food. It is a lot cheaper than the 1/2 inch wire though...

This wire is 16 gauge.

Does this product have lead in it? Is it zinc coated?

Asked by: VABeachGirl
Thank you for your inquiry. Our cage wire is galvanized (zinc) for extended life and added durability. Galvanized wire fence is used around the world as farm and garden fencing and for pet containment. While we are not aware of any situations where zinc run-off has occurred and contaminated any vegetables or livestock, you may want to consider alternative options if you are highly concerned of the potential risk. Best, Product Support.
