I bought this at nearest tractor supply and my cavies (guinea pigs) went through it in less than 2 weeks! Could they maybe start having a 10lb bag/box? And stock up on it? I had to drive an hour to go get it because My tractor supply only had the 20oz. The quality was great, my cavies loved it, but please get a bigger bag.

To whomever manufactures Dumor hay now: This hay was Literally- the best hay you could buy on the market- even better and fresher than direct order hay companies for twice as much. The hay used to be super green like cash- literally- fresh and soft- and cut and packed in what would come out like cut square chucks that my bunny adored and ate nonstop. Instead a bag full of long hard messy strands of garbage hay like other hay companies this was supple and perfect. A hidden gem as most cities don’t have a Tractor Trailor Supply and don’t know about it. This changed about 6 months ago. Suddenly the packaging was different, a purple color and new pictures on the front but then the hay was also completely different too. I noticed immediately from the bag the hay was different. Now it’s like straw- rough scratchy and awful. Thrown in like a pile of weeds you can barely pull. Gone are the fresh soft green layers cut in perfect squares that broke and fit in your rabbits hay been perfectly. It has been replaced with yellowish brownish muck that is basically hard garbage straw. My rabbit who adored this hay doesn’t like it and it’s an absolute mess all over now since they don’t cut it anymore. I used to buy at least a bag a week for her but now a bag lasts three weeks because she just doesn’t eat through it like before. I’m not sure if Tractor Trailor switched farms to save money or what happened but I assure you that cutting corners will bite you in the long run. Every company that does this suffers sales in the end and a perfect product is now gone. Word to the wise, there’s no short cuts and changing the product was more than noticeable. I will now have to find a new hay company.
