The 36in (large) collapsible single door animal trap features a spring loaded trap for capturing raccoons, groundhogs, opossums, squirrels, rabbits and other unwanted animals. First Defense Collapsible animal trap is for rac.

We bought the First Defense Collapsible animal trap to capture some raccoons giving us issues. Our other smaller traps would not hold them. This trap caught them, but something about the trap door is not strong enough to hold them. One very angry raccoon escaped the door as we were trying to move the trap through a very skinny space.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The construction of this trap is excellent, easy to set up and portable so you can easily transport your pest to another location. The wire enclosure has a heavy galvanized finish. It looks like it will last forever. I feel comfortable that the pest inside won't get loose when I carry the trap away.
