Here is why, along with what you need to know regarding pump upgrades: Hose Length & Pressure Drop: Pumping liquid through 150 feet of hose creates significant pressure loss. We recommend a maximum hose length of 50 feet on this unit. Pushing past 50 feet causes a dramatic drop in pressure at the spray tip, resulting in a weak spray pattern and reduced horizontal/vertical reach. Pump Upgrades: Swapping to a larger GPM pump will not solve the pressure issue on a long hose run. Very good sprayer.

After quite a bit of research, I bought this sprayer for what it’s described to do - spot spraying. I needed a sprayer to treat weed growth along the roadways and certain other areas at our ranch in south Texas.
The positives:
• It’s a spot sprayer and performs superbly as such. The spray velocity, volume, and width is easily adjustable with the hand-held nozzle. Variable, but can put out a lot of spray when needed or you can limit the spray volume to precise spots. And the tank includes mounts for the nozzle when in transport or not in use. Minimal setup required.
• The 65 gallon tank was a requisite for my needs. Gives you the opportunity to cover a lot of ground before refilling, should you need to.
• The tank design is simplistic and very functional. Easy to fill to the desired volume with incremental measurement markings on the tank’s surface. That’s important, given the costs of weed killer liquids. Also, easy to drain after usage and cleanup with a bottom drain cap.
• I loaded it on the back of a Kubota ATV. The sprayer comes equipped with cables to easily connect to the vehicle’s battery and to activate the sprayer. Empty, the sprayer can be moved about as needed. Obviously, not so when full, but not an issue.
The negatives:
• None with respect to the equipment itself. Only the freight costs, which in my case amounted to half of the cost of the equipment itself. Guess that can be expected given the size and weight of the equipment.
Note, that I’m not submitting this review to affirm my purchase decision but rather to provide rating advice to those who may be interested in purchasing this piece of equipment.
In summary, well worth the investment. You will get what you pay for and then some. Highly recommend this equipment.

Purchased to be able to water recently planted trees. Fits comfortably in the bed of my Polaris UTV. Reasonable weight when empty for a single person to load and unload the tank. Seems to be well built. Had a question about using the sprayer so called PIMCO customer service and they were very helpful.
