Q: Can a garden hose be hooked to it? We’d like to use it to water trees?
23 days ago- A: Yes, you can absolutely use this tank to water your trees! While a standard garden hose won't thread directly onto the tank’s bare outlet (the tank features a 3/4" female NPT pipe thread), you can easily connect one using a simple adapter. You will just need a 3/4" Male NPT to 3/4" Male Garden Hose Thread (MGHT) adapter (should be able to find one at your local Tractor Supply). Once that is threaded into the tank's bulkhead, your garden hose will hook up perfectly. Please note that because this is a gravity-fed setup, the flow will be slow unless you elevate the tank or connect a small utility pump!22 days agoHelpful?
Q: What is the measurement (in inches) from the bottom of the tank to the top of the lid?
a year ago- A: The height from the bottom of the tank to the top of the lid is approximately 21".a year agoHelpful?
Q: When will product (item 205593999) be available?
a year ago- A: When you order this tank through Tractor Supply's website, they send us the order, if they don't have in stock and we typically will ship out within 2-3 days.a year agoHelpful?
Q: When will this product (item 205593999) be available?
a year ago- A: Tractor Supply typically sends us orders for items they don't carry and we fulfill those orders within 2-3 business days.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Is this tank un/dot approved for transporting hazardous chemicals?
a year ago- A: There is no rating of that sort on our sprayer tanks. They're designed to handle most of your needs for herbicides, fertilizers, etc.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Do you sell attachments like spigots so i can have this in my trubk of suv gravity fed and hook pressure washer up to it?
2 years ago- A: We don't have a spigot, but we do have valves that you can probably connect to the bulkhead fittings with the correct parts. You can contact our customer service team at 800-831-0027 and they can help you in the parts you need.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: How to repair a tank leak?
2 years ago- A: Ray, not sure where your tank is leaking, but Fimco does have tank patch kits. Otherwise, you'd be looking at a complete tank replacement. You can contact our customer service team at 800-831-0027 and they'll be happy to help in whichever one you're needing.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: If I attach a hose to the outlet will the gravity flow be enough for the water to drain? Or do you recommend adding a pump to siphon the water from the tank more quickly? If so what pump should be used?Thank you.
2 years ago- A: Yes gravity feed should be enough to allow the water to drain, a pump would only be needed if you're wishing to empty it faster than allowing the gravity to flow. As for pump size, you could hook up a 4.5 GPM high-performance pump to speed up the flow to drain the tank.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this tank be used for mobile detailing? As far as the structural integrity goes with slushing water from driving. Any possible leaked from the bottom port?
2 years ago- A: The tank should work for your needs. Several customers use these tanks in the back of their vehicle or UTV and don't have any problems, as long as you have it secured well enough to keep it from sliding around. We have not heard from anyone that there's any kind of leakage from the bottom ports. The bulkhead fittings have gaskets and those gaskets are also replaceable if ever needed.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this tank be used for chlorine? Is for power washing services.
2 years ago- A: Should be okay for the tank, but not recommended for the 12 volt pumps.2 years agoHelpful?
