Its made from super cheap plastic. the frame bends when you go to sit in it. the chair slides around. at 316lbs you cannot stand up and fish on it. the paddles are too narrow. you will need a 98+ inch paddles. Do not buy unless you can scratch it and they take 10 percent off plus you use it for 28 days then return it. a complete scam.

I took this kayak out on its maiden voyage today, and it was great! It is wide and stable, tracks well, and has lots of space for gear. I love the stand assist strap, and I was able to stand up on this to get on and off. It is hefty at 94 pounds, but it is one of the few that has a 500 pound weight capacity, and honestly for me it is worth the trade off. I can easily carry everything I need to without worrying. I carry mine in my truck bed, but getting it onto a roof top car rack would be a significant challenge without help. I purchased a kayak cart for it, so moving it from my vehicle to the water wasn't an issue. Two reasons for the 4* review: There are cup holders, but I just can't see a drink not falling out of it on anything but the absolute calmest water, as it is open to the outside of the boat. I didn't attempt using them. The second reason is because of the paddle- it really isn't a good one. It is too short. With the kayak width being almost 36" and the raised seat, it just doesn't grab the water very well. Also the rubber pieces that are supposed to stop water from sliding back down the paddle shaft really did nothing and I got pretty wet, so I will be purchasing a much longer one to replace this one. I would think the paddle would be fine on a sit in style of boat, but for this model it isn't great. Overall, this kayak is 100% worth purchasing, I really enjoyed this!

Good kayak im not super heavy so I can bring like over 200bs of gear and i can stand on it like a boat and fish best kayak I ever owned higly recommend

I’m 360 lbs (about 375 with gear), and the Field & Stream Nessmuk 12.5 Sit-On-Top Fishing Kayak handled my weight with no problem. I tested it with the scupper plugs in and out. Even without plugs, I still had about half an inch before water would come in, so I’m running it open for self-draining. The seat is very comfortable and feels sturdy, with four support rails underneath. I used the higher seat setting for more room, but the lower position would probably add even more stability. I did tip once, but that was user error. My line got hung up and I didn’t have an anchor set. Re-entry in shallow water was easy. The only downside is the included paddle. Mine didn’t connect properly and feels cheap. I’d recommend buying a better paddle. For $699, this is a great value, especially for bigger anglers. I’d definitely buy it again.
