I was one of the first people to use this kayak. I was there when they showed up in store for the first time and I purchased it immediately. PROS - It looks really sharp. It’s huge. It has tons of storage space. It absolutely asserts dominance on the water. I’m in love with how tactical it looks. CONS - It’s on the heavier side, almost 80 pounds. You’ll need a kayak cart if you’re solo. The first time I sat in the seat the plastic chair strap buckles broke into a million pieces, cheaply made. I ordered metal replacements online. The foot rests feel cheap and flimsy too. I also added a foam hunting pad for a more comfortable ride, and a green milk crate on the back. If you care about “looks” this really is a cool looking boat. Basically it is a good entry level boat. It steers and tracks alright and it’s unstoppable once you get cruising. It’s sturdy and it will easily carry all your gear and accessories for a nice fishing or camping trip. I don’t regret this purchase but beware you will probably have to replace or upgrade some of the outer hardware.
