Medium flocks (10–20 chickens) may need daily refills, and large flocks (20+ chickens) will likely require multiple refills per day. We purchased the feeder to replace our last one that was sun bleached and the white plastic was breaking off. So far this feeder seems to be a little higher quality so hopefully it lasts longer.
