Medium flocks (10–20 chickens) may need daily refills, and large flocks (20+ chickens) will likely require multiple refills per day. These are perfect! They have feet that fold down to minimize the stuff getting in that thr chickens kick around. And i love that it has a lid!

Okay for Hanging
a month ago
Okay for chicks up to 2 months. But once they get to stage 2, it becomes a roost. The chickens knock it over if you use the extendable legs. They sit on top of it and push it over as they get off of it. If you have it sitting on the ground, the chickens bump it around and when the feed gets low, it comes apart exposing all the feed. It may be okay if it's hanging, but I do not recommend it for sitting on the ground
