My baby chickens are about 4 weeks old and ready for a bigger feeder. This one can be placed on the ground or there are 2 levels with the adjustable legs. I set mine up with the shorter legs and "the girls" love it! They are wasting less feed and seem to find it easy to use. The size holds quite a bit - enough for my 6 chickens. I like that it's made of sturdy plastic and won't rust. I'm planning to move them out into their permanent chicken coop in a few weeks, once they are bigger.

Base comes off very easily causing feed to spill out everywhere. Second level of the legs does not snap open and legs close if nudged or bumped.

Pros: Covered so keeps flies out, and has adjustable legs as ducks grows. Cons: Adult ducks pellets do NOT come out to refill as needed. I have to shake feeder in a circular motion to get the feed to refill sections. So the duck starve till you check-in on them. The ducks seemed like they were only able to get their big bears in to eat enough. So husband had to cut 3 openings on 3 sides to allow the pellets to freely refill as needed. But then one duck got his beak caught under one of the separators. Now it's a waste of money since cannot return to store.

If you’re going to use the legs or have this sitting on the ground it may work ok. Hanging it is not advised as the bottom/base is not manufactured very well so the bottom drops out when you put feed in it. I bought it for the lid and the ability to hang it and neither function work well. I returned mine.
