Careful during Transport.

The body of the watered gives way easier than it should. It is thinner than it should be. The thinness causes it to detach from the base if you turn it over too quickly. This waterer works best if you wash the base and container separately, attach it well and then fill it through the plug on the bottom. Seal the plug well. Turn it over SLOWLY. Hang it and plug it in. Good idea, but not fool proof.

Had this plugged in all winter, especially during the January 2026 ice storm and never had to worry about my chickens having water! Easy, works and worth the peace of mind!

Hunk of Junk!!

Every time I fill these feeders with water and carry them to my coops the bottom constantly comes loose and I lose all of the water in my waterer. I can just twist my hand or bump the co trainers slightly and the bottom falls right off! They do not stay on! I purchased them for the winter while I was away for fear of freezing water. Well can’t return them because the 30 days are over but DO NOT BUY these as they are a hunk of junk for the very expensive price you pay for them. I guess I’ll have to start gettin all of my future purchases at the co op from now on! I’m extremely disappointed in TS. They’re going down hill fast!
