This insulator works only if you do not over tighten the mounting screws. The screws make the part "bow" and can cause the pin not to hold under pressure when the line is tightened.

Easy to use but.....

Easy to use usually comes at a price. The roller is held in by a plastic pin. To tighten the fence you bow the pin slightly. Not bad initially but plastic breaks down eventually and once the horses push on the fence the pin snaps. I have had mine installed for 5 years and now the pins are snapping like mad. I am replacing the roller part with ceramic insulators.

Looks like it will work well.

Looks nice an I hope it will work well. Only dislike is the pin gets in the way of installation.

Great for corner posts!

I really liked these on my ending posts and corner posts. It feels a lot more sturdy then the typical porcelain insulators that I would have typically used in the past. I wish they had bags with more then 10 in there though, as it’s hard to find more then a couple of bags in the stores.

Yes, I recommend this product.
