This is a good cleaning/ antibacterial solution that we use for our goats. Whether we soak a sore hoof, or clean a wound -it works to help with the healing process. We like to have a gallon on hand for quick treatment with our goat herd

My horse had a severe case of rain rot. We rotated between this product and Durvet topical livestock fungicide—bathing and soaking with the chlorhexidine one day, then spraying with this the next. On July 22, she was badly scabbed and had lost most of her hair. By August 1, the rain rot had cleared up, and she already had significant hair regrowth.

TSC stopped carrying this product in their stores

First off I can't believe the TSC decided not to carry this product in stores!!! Unbelievable!!!. As the owner of 6 horses I use this product for many uses; as I live in an area of the country where humidity is extremely high from May-September and hooves have a tendency to contract fungus. When this occurs their hooves are soaked in a solution of 50% Chlorhexidine/50% water. In addition I use it to treat many different situations as they arise. I couldn't live without this product when maintaining a herd of horses.
