Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work!! These work great. I hung one up 2 weeks ago and it is 2/3 full of flies. But I would worn you not to drop the bag. The bad smell will last for weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product but smells bad to humans. This product works great! After one day of hanging it I noticed a lot less flies around. it smells horrible, but hey, the flies love it and that is all that matters. I would suggest hanging it somewhere away from where you will be working or walking often because it really smells bad. It works and I will be buying more of these.

Will this work for horseflies?

Asked by: Anonymous
Big Bag is labeled for the House Fly, Lesser House Fly, Cluster Fly, Lance Fly, Secondary Screwworm Fly, Flesh Fly, False Stable Fly, Blow Flies and Bottle Flies. If you are referring to a biting fly species, horsefly, then we recommend the TrapStik for Biting Flies or Mosquito GoClip, both of which are effective on flies that bite.

How long does this trap work. I have 4 chickens. They have a decent size coop and a 10’x20’ run area. Also, is this trap safe to use inside the coop?

Asked by: CFCFCF
It will typically last a month in areas with heavy fly concentrations. You should replace with a new trap when the bag is full, when the water inside the bag has dried out, or after 30 days - whichever comes first. And yes, it is safe to use inside the coop - all ingredients are food and feed-based.
