  • A: Feed your rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, and other small animals the food they would naturally eat in the wild with these alfalfa hay cubes. Q: Is this product safe for chickens

1 Answer
  • A: The alfalfa cubes can be fed as a treat or for life enrichment for chickens that they can peck at and you can also crumble them up to make it easier for them to eat. Alfalfa is in many of the chicken feeds in fact most on the market. Chickens love to eat dried greens so this would be a good source not as a daily diet but in addition to the daily diet. Alfalfa is full of dried green leaves or flakes and many chickens love to eat it. It is recommended that you keep alfalfa off the ground when it is wet out. As with any treat it should be a small percentage 5% to10% of the daily dietary intake
