Arrived broken, not worth it to return for refund

Ordered this delivered with some other stuff because I just had surgery and couldn't drive. Paid $30 for delivery. This came broken into a million pieces. Tried to get a refund but they wanted me to drive 20 mins each way to return it. Obviously I couldn't and it wasn't worth it to ask someone to do it for me. Don't understand why they would want it back because you can't sell it like that.
