Q: Can this product be fed to my goose through winter when there is no grass available?

  • A: The alfalfa hay is packed as loose stem and head. Since alfalfa is not a hay per say but a legume it has a tendency to have some leaf flake that true grass hay would not have. All parts are 100 percent edible and enjoyed by small animals.

Q: Does thir go bad ivef time?

  • A: I don’t believe so.  If you put it out and it rains, it will get moldy but, in the bag it seems to last a long time.  We had a bag for 6 months and it was fine.
