I acquired a rabbit and since I knew very little about caring for one I did some research. Timothy hay was highly recommended. So I bought a bunch. On a whim I bought the oxbow adult and young rabbit bags of oxbow pellets. She won’t touch the hay but goes crazy over the oxbow pellets. Go figure.

Batch inconsistency triggering stasis??

I really want to love this product. I’ve used it for a year in my herd of about 25 rabbits. There seems to be some variability in consistency from batch to batch. That has resulted in stasis outbreaks in my herd. We have had up to 3 rabbits go into stasis just after opening a new bag. The feed never looks spoiled or moldy.

Robbie loves these pellets! Also, he has had no illness or issues in 4 years. believe these give him all the nutrition he needs, plus I like the messages the company conveys abut the delicate nature of feeding and caring for a pet rabbit.
