This toaster is great. Put the bread in, push the lever, get toast. Does it's job.

I have only been using the toaster for a couple of weeks. I exchanged the metal model when I returned the white plastic model. That one was just a very cheaply designed product with a Cuisinart name stamped on it. The metal one I have now is OK, but you can tell that it's made more of a tin like material and much lighter than the older model. I think time will tell but wonder why Cuisinart Marketing Department sends out their survey requests within weeks of date of purchase.

This is probably the worst toaster that I have ever owned. When toasting regular bread, it burns the bread even on the lowest setting. Can’t imagine what it would do and the amount of smoke it would make if it were on the highest setting. Can not recommend this product.

We were looking for a great two slice toaster. This one fit the bill and is very versatile. We are pleased. Would buy again
