Does not perform as I expected a Cuisinart brand to function. Dial is very loose, have to press lever down 2-3 times before bread remains down, and only 1/2 of bread comes out toasted. Very disappointed.

As an owner of other Cuisinart products, I expected better, especially for the price. The pop-up function is unreliable; thicker slices of bread may not pop up on their own. The lift feature doesn't provide enough extra lift to be able reach smaller slices. The overall construction is lightweight and cheap-feeling. I don't recommend.
