Decent Toaster

Competent toaster overall, with a couple of limitations. Getting browning level for simple toast took several attempts. Would get toast nearly ideal, pop it back down and would seem to be overdone immediately. Ended up with dial at 4.5 setting which is close enough without burning it.
Slots for toasting not nearly wide enough for larger bagels we found. Used to using toaster oven where this was never an issue. Also found it a tight fit for French toast made with wide slice bread, again was an issue we didn’t have in the past.
Liked the plain finish to toaster, matching our other appliances. Bit difficult to clean it after we opened box - and be sure to cycle it multiple times (without bread) to burn oil off coils before using. Makes an unusual smell that eventually goes away.
And as you’ll notice from our photo - a pair of magnetic tongs will stick to the body of the stainless steel toaster!

This was the same model we had it lasted for years, but due to the use it was starting to show much where the new one works very good and if we get as much use as we did the past one, it will be to our benefit

The toaster is a nice looking appliance on my counter. The temperature seems to be off though. It is set on 2 of 10 to keep from burning the bread. We haven't tried any of the other functions yet.

I bought this toaster about 3 months ago and I am very disappointed with it. It does not toast evenly, even at the lowest setting the bottom the bottom is always burned. In
