Bought this as a first time canner. Was pleased with the size. Good canning results with water bath canning. Feels a bit safer as a begginer.

Rack Rusted After One Month
At first I loved it. But after only one month, the "stainless steel" rack rusted and filled the canner and all of my jars with rusty water! It rusted at every joint where it had been spot welded. Now I have to find a replacement rack that won't rust. Love the pot, hate the rack!

Granit ware canner
I picked this up the day I needed to use it... otherwise I would have returned it. The lid had a rust warn spot on it, and the canner itself is out of round the lid does not fit on it properly, the canning rack is all bent up and will not sit in the canner. Very disappointed in the product. It seems every time I order something online and pick it up or even have it shipped, it is damaged goods.

Damaged in shipping
I was very disappointed to get the item home and discover the pot had a 3" dent in the bottom edge and all the paint in that area had flaked off. Clearly it was mishandled in shipping. However, the pot is still functional. In an effort to reduce waste in landfills, I've kept the pot - damage and all. I just wish TSC had made more effort to protect the pot in shipping. It had been shipped in a think plastic bag with no protective padding.
Yes, I recommend this product.
