Sturdy all purpose pressure canner

I bought this same canner in 1999 and use it to this day. I've never replaced any parts (gasket, gauge) and the pot shows normal usage wear. The enclosed recipe book is a great resource and I check directions every time I pressure can. Perfect for anyone looking for a reliable pressure canner.

Get a better weight if you want to dial in presure

Very difficult to maintain an appropriate pressure for canning. It comes with a 15lb weight only and you control pressure through adjusting the heat. Dialing in a temp is very difficult this way. So forget about precision unless your running 15lbs. Not very versatile in that regard.

Very satisfied with the presser canner. Easy to read directions, it worked very well on my glass top stove and was very easy to operate. It was delivered the next day! Highly recommend.
