Buyer beware….Only one side toasts!

My original toaster was the best but quit working properly. Cuisinart replaced with a similar model and it wouldn’t toast properly. After going through troubleshooting with the company, they deemed it defective. They replaced with this model at which only toasts one side of the bread! I have plugged into several different outlets, tried different slots at different intervals and still only one side toasts!! I have ALL Cuisinart appliances except for my mixer and this is terribly disappointing as Cuisinart has not hit the mark in the toaster category for some time now.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The toaster is not only attractive but it has a setting that is easy to choose the correct number for toast, muffins and bagels. Numbers 4 is perfect for toast but number 5 or 6 makes perfect English muffins.
