Simplistic & powerful but have had a problem with fluid shooting out the filler cap since day 1. Customer service seems unwilling to deal with the situation and sidesteps my inquiry for a fix. Initial prognosis by customer service did not work and now I'm stuck with a problem on a new machine. Stopping payments soon if I don't get some help.

Product is well built

Ordered this online for delivery to house. XPO freight delivered it but you must be home and available to answer the drivers call when they are on the way. Comes on a pallet inside a nice wooden box, it is extremely heavy and you will not be able to move the crate by yourself so make sure it is placed on a level surface and right where you are going to assemble it. The instructions are very clear and you start assembly of attaching the wheels while still on crate. To stand up and attach the beam/Cylinder you will definitely need 2-3 people unless your helper is the Rock. We had two to lift and one to maneuver the engine and hydraulic hoses as we lifted it upright. After you get it upright it is ok to finish assembly with two people. It comes pre-filled with hydraulic fluid so just need to add engine oil and gas. Put it to use right away on a extremely large red oak that fell. It powers right through very pieces of wood. If you are splitting large pieces and hit any knots you will be glad you got the 40 ton versus anything smaller, worth the extra money for peace of mind that you are not underpowered. Was looking at more expensive 40 ton machines but this is all you need for a great price point.
