Great self defense

I carry this every day. I think you have to appreciate it for what it is. This is a fighting knife, plain and simple. It's not going to be the greatest work knife, but that's not what is intended for. I love it as a backup for self defense.

Best Self Defense Knife

In my view, the Ti-Lite 6-inch with any type of handle, aluminum or zytel, is the best self defense k knife I know of. Why? Because it can be used with the blade in or out. In a situation where lethal force is not called for, the Ti-Lite can provide needed support for one's fist in the same way a roll of dimes can. The wave support at the base of the blade can rip or tear flesh, or the blade can be deployed to discourage or end a fight quickly or against multiple assailants.
The knife also rides easy in the pocket and can easily cut open packages. It wouldn't be my first choice for yard work, but it can be used as a machete for removing troublesome Creeping Johnnies and other vines.

Beast of a knife

This was my introduction into pocket swords. The stiletto blade a curvey handle brought my in and captured my imagination. I carry it very often and love using it as a chore knife.

It's tough enough.

Just buy it. Light weight and very tough. Cold Steel sharp and ready to go out of the box. I have an old Gerber lightweight folder with a composite handle that has served me well and I see this as it's replacement AND THEN SOME.
