Beast of a Folder - Love it!

Incredible knife, nicely done. It's a beast of a knife with a sharp 5" drop point blade and a 7 1/8" handle allowing 3 hand positions depending on the task. I am very comfortable using this knife for heavy duty tasks due it's Tri-Lock designed by Andrew Demko. And as hard as it may sound to pocket carry this 7 1/8" handle, 12.4 oz. knife it's very doable. LOVE IT!!

Honest to G - the BEST knife CS has ever produced!

I have been a die-hard CS fan/collector since 1996, and thought I had seen it all, but the 5Max takes the cake. I have wracked my brain (and inventory) in vain to find a similar product, but all pale in comparison. This is, honestly, the best knife they have ever made. HUGE, but manageable in both the hand and the pocket. Titanium liners. G10 scales. Not sure what material they used to coat the S35VN, but it is phenomenal. Mind-numbingly sharp. The fit and finish are without flaw. Smooth action, rock-solid lockup. With the exception of my wife's engagement and wedding rings, this might be the greatest purchase of my life. This is my go-to EDC tool/weapon. THANK YOU Andrew Demko and CS for bringing this one across the finish line. I have purchased and reviewed a ton of CS products in my life - this one ranks #1 out of all of them!

This is a robust well designed knife that can easily compete with any fix blade. If you're in need of a camp knife and prefer the ease of carrying a folder this knife fits the need perfectly.
