Great Knife! I recommend, but it arrived very dull

amazing assisted open, very powerful, great handle, amazing lock, feels really good all around..... but it will not slice paper without tearing and ripping, factory dull, and its a tough steel for me to sharpen. I am overall really happy with the knife, but i am dissapointed in the blade grind.

Great knife, poor quality control

Bought this knife a week ago, very happy overall - especially with the balance, the blade geometry, the lock with zero play in any direction, the amount of force in the assist spring, the pocket clip - this could be a perfect big folding knife!
However, I am horrified by the poor quality control - just see for yourself: the scale thickness is uneven, there's a separation mark on the liner most likely caused by forceful folding that some worker used to break it off from the metal sheet, the lock lever jinping is warped and irregular, the blade grind is uneven, especially near the tip - how is this even possible on a 200 dollar knife? Or did I get a factory second?

Give me some scale options please….

With a great steel like CPM M4, in my opinion, it should come with, or have the option to, upgrade the scales to something better suited to giving a more reliable grip in wet conditions than G10 scales do, in almost any situation. I have a Bush Ranger Lite with GFN scales, and I don’t use it without gloves because the scales are too sharp on the hands, whereas some Micarta scales give a very strong grip in any condition, and are easy on the hands. Just a thought for some aftermarket sales so we can “upgrade” our knives and take them to more than an off the shelf piece, and customize them to suit our needs and tastes. I know that the G10 scales are “textured” for a “grippy” feel, but they’re still just G10 at the end of the day.
