The Ultra Quiet, Oil-Free Air Compressor is designed to be one of the quietest 1 horsepower air compressors in the industry having only 40 decibels of sound. The CAT-MP100LF Motor/Pump is tested for a minimum pump life of 4000 hours before service with 30% more life before repair. This powerful motor operates at only 1400 RPM creating less noise, vibration and wear. The Oil-Free Dual Piston Pump System is engineered for longevity, high performance and durability. The large 8 gal. steel air tank is internally coated with epoxy to prevent any corrosion. The complete Soundproof Cabinet is 157 lb. and is made of a sturdy metal frame with 1/4 in. Acoustic Soundproofing Foam insulation to reduce the noise by 30%. The cabinet has two latching doors that allows for easy access to the air compressor and components while the two cabinet exhaust fans are used to remove air from the cabinet for a cool working condition. 4 caster wheels make moving the air compressor from location to location very easy. To dry the air from the air compressor a combination of the Aftercooler and Dryer are utilized. The Air Dryer is specially designed to remove the water vapor from the air to protect sensitive tools and machinery while the After Cooler is a heat exchanger for cooling the discharged air from the air compressor. The water vapor from the compressed air is then condensed into liquid form and pushed into the Air Dryer. This air compressor is ideal for anyone working inside (office, shop, store, warehouse or home) where noise is a major issue.
