Q: Location in central Mississippi

  • A: Bekaert Staples are stock items for most TSC stores. Not all lengths of staples may be stock items. If your local store does not carry what you are looking for, please contact the local store manager for a special order.

Q: how many staples in your 8 lb bucket?

2 Answers
  • A: Eight pounds of them. :) Only the manufacturer can fix this. Selling these by weight makes as much sense as selling wheat flour by weight when all US recipes specify a certain volume. That being noted, I actually traded in my eight pound bucket of 1.75" staples for an eight pound bucket of 1.5" staples, weighed 20 of them resulting in 5.625 ounces (Why are we not using the metric system???), which results in an estimated 455 staples in eight (net) pounds. Assuming that the 1.75" (or 1 3/4" for you fractional people) staples weigh about 1/6 more, you might expect to find only about 390 staples or so in your bucket, and if your job requires you to use 425 staples, better go with the 1 1/2" staple bucket like I did.

Fencing staples

Just used these for my wire mesh fence. The staples hold very well during the fence stretching process. My fence is stretched so tight you could play guitar on the wires. Good product
