Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely hard to drive I bought these a couple of weeks ago to install welded hog wire on wooden posts. I have been a professional carpenter and woodworker for 50 years and I had a very difficult time driving these staples. The points aren't sharp enough to hold the staple firmly by taping it in lightly, so the staple inevitably flies off on the second hit. I resorted to holding the staple with pliers to get them started. I'll by the barbed staples next time.
