Q: Does it matter which side of t-post

1 Answer
  • A: Hi, thanks for the question. Yes, it matters which side you use: Bekaert T-Post Fence Clips are designed to wrap around the back (smooth side) of the T-post while the fence wire stays on the front (studded/bumpy side).

Q: It states that these require a special drill tool. T-post clips have existed for a real long time and just required a small tool that would allow me to wrap a single wire around the fence wire. Are these that type of clip (a picture would be nice)?

1 Answer
  • A: These fence T-post clips require Bekaert drill chuck part # 658870 for installation.

Quite expensive. But sort of worth it. I guess

They break off on one side after you tighten them. So a little piece falls off in your livestock pen. I may be doing something wrong but it's quite irritating. I've seen an animal die of hardware once and I never want to see it again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Much better than traditional clips

These are great. Much more stable and stronger than regular clips. Having applied over a full bucket of these, I can attach them just as fast as with my fencing tool. The regular fencing clips just don't hold as well and are so thinnly made now. My only complaint is when you twist these on, a small piece of metal gets cut off and I have to grab it before it hits the ground, as I don't want my cows ingesting it. I really wish these were sold in the stores. I feel that in the future these will definitely cut down on my fencing repairs.

Yes, I recommend this product.
