I bought two boxes and my son dumped them into a small bucket to make them easier to grab. While installing the wire fence over a couple of days, I noticed that many of the staples did not have the barbs. When I mentioned this, my son said the entire 2nd box did not have the barbs. Since he had already thrown the box away, I couldn't get to the cause of the problem. The staples with the barbs get 5 stars. The staples without get 2 stars. I stopped using those and now need to go back to the store and buy another box with barbs. Make sure you check your order carefully before leaving the store if picked by TSC and picked up curbside.
