The AniMed Remission Horse Supplement is a scientific blend of natural supportive ingredients with probiotics, functional carbohydrates (2nd generation prebiotic) and omega-3 fatty acids. Use these probiotics for horses with a feeding program based on a diet high in fiber and low in simple carbohydrates to achieve the best results. These horse supplements contain 70 anti-oxidants, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, along with all of the other essential amino acids. Use this supplement with horses of all life stages. Its powder form makes it easy to administer.

- A: I am not sure. Remission acts like a sponge in the intestines to push all toxins related to colic that the colic toxins naturally go to the feet to cause founder. Remission tries to push these toxins out of the gut first before toxins are obsorbed. But like all supplements that are for the inner hoof lining, Remission might also provide other hoof nutrients. You need to ask the company that makes Remission. All I know since I have 2 horses that have had laminitis, and would be prone to founder, I use Remission in every feeding year around.5 years agoHelpful?

All I know is since she’s been on Remission she hasn’t foundered. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it’s a powder and slips between the pellets, resulting in some waste. I put a little olive oil on the pellets to help it stick.

One year ago my horse had a bad bout of laminitis, among other meds from Vet I have kept her on Remission as a supplement precaution. Easy to add to her feed, she eats it with no problem.
