Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy enough for kids Easy to unwind and set up. My six year old even did most of the hook up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Fine For Equines! Great fencing for our four horses! I love the high visibility colors and it was very easy to put up. We had purchased wire tighteners just in case, but they weren’t even needed. A little elbow grease was all that was needed to get the wires nice and tight. Conducts well too! My poor dog was on the receiveing end and learned not to chase the horses quickly. Just be careful of the steel threads if it gets a little frayed at the end, or else you might get a finger poke. All in all, great wire for a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to make horse pasture Was easy to use. Easy to manipulate to help create what we needed it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, durable, cost effective! This was easy to install with the step in posts and the spool feeder. Took maybe 45 mins to run 4-strand fence for 600yards. Wasn't frayed at all, glides smoothly ofd the spool. High visibility works well and it carries the charge. No issues and I notice minimal line leakage from vegetation.

Can I use this wire double to keep a few cows in a temporarily pasture

Asked by: garstrom
This wire can be used to contain cows. We recommend a minimum voltage of 2,000 to 3,000 volts on the fence line for cattle.

Can this be used with a TSC Super Bee 3680003 continuous current energizer? I can not find specs for this energizer that was sold by TSC.

Asked by: clkirk
We recommend contacting the manufacturer of that charger for their product suggestions.

I have a 14 gauge galvanized steel wire as a perimeter fence around my pasture. I want to divide the pasture into eight paddocks. Can this Polywire be connected successfully to the galvanized wire to get the needed charge for the paddock fencing.

Asked by: osufan
Cross fencing can be added within your perimeter fence, however, we do not recommend the mixing of different wire types such as a solid stranded wire and a polywire.

I need to stop raccoons from eating the apples off a tree in my garden.  Can this be pegged down on the ground around the tree base and plugged into an outlet? I’ve tried a chicken wire fence around the tree, but they climb over it.

Asked by: Lisa1234
When used as directed, this product can be used for raccoons. Please feel free to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-592-7322 with any questions or for further assistance.

I have 4 strands of polywire around a 2 acre garden.  Everything is hooked up as directed.  Testing the wire, I have 5k volts on all strands. I can hold the wire with very little shock.  Why and is this right?

Asked by: Jimmy6708
If the fence tester is reading 5,000 volts on all strands, then that is an excellent sign your fence is working. If you are not feeling the shock when touching the fence, it is likely that you are being insulated by your shoes.

Can this be used to keep large dogs from digging under a fence?

Asked by: Jes76667
As long as there is enough voltage on the wire, it can be used to help contain dogs. We recommend a minimum of 700 -1000 volts on the fence for pets.

Will this wire work with a steady electric stream or is it only made for pulsating elwctric

Asked by: Kbwm1234
We recommend using a high powered, low impedance, pulsating energizer with this wire.
