I have a 8 month old Australian Sheppard I feed her Diamond brand puppy food , what's the difference between the 2 4 health and Diamond

Asked by: angmom73
While the formulas will have some similar ingredients, such as our superfoods and patented probiotics, each recipe is unique. The Diamond Puppy formula, for example, contains chicken by-product meal as its protein source, along with ingredients like corn and grains. It also contains 31% protein and 20% fat. The 4Health Grain Free Puppy formula does not contain ingredients such as corn, wheat or grains. Protein comes from chicken and chicken meal, making it 27% protein and 15% fat.

My dog is eating this food well. At one point should i take her off the puppy brand? She is just about 6 months old.

Asked by: Kevin in GS
As a general guide, we recommend transitioning puppies to adult food at about 10–12 months of age. For large or giant breeds, between 12–18 months of age is a good time to make the transition to adult food. However, if you’re feeding an All Life Stages formula, your dog can continue on the formula indefinitely.

Our 5 month old Mastiff/Boxer mix has been on 4Health for about a month and we switched the adult dogs over to your Lamb and Rice as well. The puppy has had an insatiable thirst lately, any chance it's from the food?

I have a female 6 month golden retriever that weighs 45 lb. The bag has so many serving sizes I'm unsure which to follow. Currently I only give her 1 1/4 cups of food twice a day am I way under feeding her?

Asked by: Hailey85
The recommended feeding guideline for the 4health Grain Free puppy, is for a 40-60 pound 5-7 month old should be fed 41/2-61/4 cups per day. This is just a guideline and can be adjusted to maintain a lean body condition. The feeding guideline can be found on the bag to follow as the puppy grows.

What are the benefits of using this food? I know some brands say that a benefit of their food is digestive health for instance, my dog has a sensitive digestive system and I wonder if this food is delicate enough for her system to handle?

Asked by: Gabi443
Here are some benefits. • No corn, no wheat, no soy • Species-specific probiotics • Lamb is the #1 ingredient for great taste • DHA for brain and eye development • Omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat • Antioxidant formulation Some dogs do better on specific formulas or protein sources. Sometimes they do not need a formula specific for digestive issues. Our product does contain probiotics which are great for digestion and gut health.
