I started my Golden Retriever on 4Health dog food several years ago. Our vet said she feeds her dogs this brand because ALL ingredients come from the USA, including the vitamins that fortify it. Knowing the ingredients are high quality and safe is of utmost importance to me.

Grain free causes heart problems, no energy.

My puppy was on this initially because the breeder had him on it. I took him to the vet recently who said a study just came out saying grain fee causes heart conditions. So I went out and got him Purina Pro Plan Puppy. Not only has his skin allergies cleared up, but he has tremendous more energy, and his bowels have been totally normal. I thought 4health was great, but turns out it’s not healthy for your dog at all.

This was what my new puppy was on when I got her so just continuing it. Seems like good food though. She really likes it, but I think she'd eat anything. She is growing too.

Amazing quality dog food

I feed this brand to my Mountain Cur and she absolutely loves it. The studies that came out attempting to link brain/heart disease to a dogs Grain-Free diet was never proven. It basis was a typical grain free diet does not provide the proper amounts of Taurine and other micro nutrients dogs need. This food is specifically supplemented with Taurine and other micros to provide what is needed. I also feed my girl a homemade chicken, white rice and vegetable meal once a month as a special treat that also helps give her added nutrients.

Great for a puppy

Our puppy is 6 months old, 55 lbs, large breed, and loves this food. He is doing great on it! We give 4health food to all our pets and have noticed less thirst and less stool as compared to other brands.
