Q: My dog is an aggressive chewer and I just purchased this toy last night. The yellow things are fine but the brown ring is not holding up as well. Is it okay that he is chewing through it and swallowing the material no doubt?

Dog ate it!!

My retriever LOVES this toy. But ate right through the brown ring. I actually had to go back and look at the package as I thought maybe it was actually some sort of bone made to be eaten. But it is not. Then I saw someone posted a question regarding the same thing and the answer was it is inedible. Luckily, she has not gotten sick. But I had to take it away. If your dog is not an aggressive chewer then this is a fun interactive toy. But I would not purchase this again or allow a chewer to play with it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
