B&D 20V Weedeater extremely disappointing

I purchased this weed eater and a spare battery. I used it once with no problems. I placed the battery on the charger which did not indicate it was charging like the spare had done. The next time I used it, the motor kept cutting out after seconds of hitting anything. I was not trying to cut anything heavy, just edging. Returned it. I bought it so my wife could use it. Would not recommend it for anyone. Thank goodness for the replacement plan.

Lightweight and easy on my hands

I bought this 20V weedeater to supplement my 18V B&D that I’ve used for 10 years to keep the vinca surrounding our lawn pathway areas under control quickly and easily. I keep replacing the 18V batteries, too, so now my 11 yr old grandson and I can eat some weeds together.

Only lasts one season!

I am an older woman who bought this product because it is light weight and I had had one that lasted a long time. I bought this new one last year and now it does not work. The batteries are good and work in other items. I am ready to buy a different brand.

Best trimmer I have ever owned

I have tried 3 other major brand gas powered yard trimmers, all of which I ended up getting rid of (broke into pieces in frustration). This battery powered Black & Decker trimmer is Great! I actually enjoy using it. The spool line feeder actually works as it should, unlike the others! GREAT TRIMMER!
