This Water Source Well System Sediment Filter is used in water well applications to reduce sediment in-line for sprinkler systems and whole house systems. It also helps make pumps, well tanks, sprinkler heads, and all plumbing fixtures last longer. This sediment water filter includes a 100 mesh stainless steel screen.

- Sediment water filter is ideal for pre-filtration where well pumps are used
- Filters out sand and other sediment from well or irrigation pump applications

- A: Hi Foxfaith, This product does not have a published PSI rating, but this is what I found in my research. This will typically be used on a well pump or irrigation pump system. It can be used with pumps that generate between 1-25 gallons per minute. Pumps in that range will typically not exceed 80 PSI. Thanks!2 years agoHelpful?

No replacement filter

Cannot find replacement filter and tractor supply doesn't have them. Clogs quickly and annoying. I'm going to have to change the entire system now after I just paid someone to install it.

Reclaimed water Filter

Good product. I used this for an irrigation system on my property that uses reclaimed county water which is very dirty. I did change the 100 mesh SS screen with a 60 mesh SS. I purchased a sheet of the 60 mesh and wrapped it around the filter post twice. Works a charm!

Amazing pre filter for sand
5 years ago
Works great for getting sand out of well water. Changed filter life from 2 weeks to 2 months by trapping the biggest particulates. I’ve put them on 4 houses in the neighborhood.
