I own 2 of these mowers and I’m looking at buying a 3rd for my father’s property. This mower starts every time even after sitting all winter. I can’t say enough good things about this mower.

Starts good. But that's all. This is a clog o matic! Owned for one year, put three different blades on it. Even with the included, side discharge, installed, it will clog up and have to be cleaned out by hand. Don't waste your hard earned cash on this garbage.

I have been very happy with my Troy-Bilt Pressure Washer which is now six years old. I have never had a problem starting the Briggs engine. It was finally time to step up and replace my push mower and wanted the same type of mower. No frills, good engine, wheels and blade. So, I unboxed my new TB100, added oil and fresh gas and got to work. Now for the disappointment... every time I have cut the grass since, I've needed to pull the carb and clean the jet to start and run the mower. The first time I thought it might be dirty gas or a dirty tank. I didn't blow out the tank the first time I used it, so maybe that's on me. The mower started, ran well and I got the yard cut. Second time I used the mower, it wouldn't start again. Removed the carb, cleaned the jet assembly, drained the tank and added fresh gas. The mower started and ran. I was frustrated and surprised the engine required the tear down to get it started. Today, same thing. I shouldn't have to put up with this and if you're reading this review, you may be thinking why are you? Well, because I'm a pretty skilled engine mechanic, and can. I wanted to share my experience, if you're thinking of purchasing this simple mower as I did. I'll be reaching out to Tractor Supply and Troy-Bilt tomorrow and will follow on with my review as things move forward, The grass isn't getting any shorter!

Hard to start, had to blow in gas tank both times I started it. Ended up taking it back and bought a GreenWorks electric push mower.
