Q: I am new at this but am I suppose to soften this brick with water? Seems super hard. Are the young deer able to eat it too?

Q: Will these Deer Blocks melt in heavy rain periods?

- A: Yes, especially in heavy rain they soften, but it takes several days of rain to make them fall apart. So I built a small enclosure out of scrap wood and mounted it at deer level on a tree. That fixed the melting problem. However it did nothing to stop the army of squirrels that ultimately eat it more than the deer!5 years agoHelpful?
Q: How much corn is in the block? I already feed corn so would rather not double up. Don’t see the percentage of corn listed. Where can I see list of ingredients? Thanks

The only block for my deer!!

The best deer block on the market by far! You could have 5 different blocks out and all the deer would migrate to the Purina deer block. It is the only block we have used for years. They only last about a week at my stand. My big buck will own the block. He doesn't want any other deer around the block when he in in. Again, amazing product......the deer love it!!

This one does not last nearly as long as the salt ‘rock’ type. It has too much corn and attractant in it--the deer chewed it up completely in 3 days. The salt lick rock type lasts for weeks. Do NOT recommend this type.
