I mistakenly thought that the standard size container for animal minerals was a five gallon bucket. I now know that five gallon mineral buckets weigh approximately 50lbs, lick magic mineral buckets weigh 23 lbs.

Apple scent for the win

I like to add one bucket per 100 lbs of my own premix mineral. Strong apple scent attracts deer quickly. Wish the stores would keep a few on the shelves. Usually order online to make sure it’s available.

Feeding mineral to the deer.

Open the bucket, mineral has a nice smell and taste that should attract the deer. Will be check mineral site and camera to see how well the deer like the mineral.
